It’s your choice – you, the customer, tell us what you want, and we will help with ideas for, then design it for you, then build it for you. It’s that simple!
Well, the answer is pretty visible. One cannot argue that the Beyond Basements system is cosmetically superior, the energy saving benefits are also a big reason why choosing this system is advantageous. And let’s face it, drywall is traditional, but it’s pretty bland. You put some walls up and paint them once every few years and that’s that. With the Beyond Basement System, you can choose from an almost limitless choice of styles and fabrics for your walls, as well as different trim that suits your tastes, but best of all, if you get tired of it, you can just change the fabrics and/or the trim at any time you desire!
That depends on many factors. For example, if your basement is currently finished and you want to redo it to our Beyond Basements System, we will need to time to arrange a crew to carefully gut your current finished basement, and start from scratch. If your basement is bare bones empty, a project can take from 2-4 weeks, sometimes more, depending on how many additions you choose to make. Drywall finishing has a faster completion time than the Beyond Basements system.
The Beyond Basements Finishing System is simple. The basement is framed out with metal studs. 4’ by 8’ compressed foam insulation panels are mounted on the studs, and fabric is rolled over top of these panels. After the fabric is rolled, different types of base, chair, and crown molding are applied to the walls. Customers also have a choice of drop ceiling or drywall ceiling.
