Our Favorite 2017 Fantasy Football Players by Position

Football is finally here! Can you smell it in the air? It’s a beautiful feeling. With all the amazing football that will soon be bestowed upon us, that also means another great year of fantasy football. Since its creation in 1980 as fantasy baseball surprisingly, fantasy football has become one of the most popular games in the world.

According to the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, an estimated 41 million people play fantasy sports every year. Even more remarkable, 80% of teen fantasy players say they plan to continue playing for at least the next decade and 40% plan to play for life!

With fantasy football becoming bigger and bigger each year, we at Rightway Waterproofing want to keep our readers up to date with the best fantasy football news. Here are our top fantasy players that could be at the top of their position rankings by the end of the season.

QB – Tom Brady (New England Patriots)

Tom Brady sure has come a long way since being drafted 199th overall (sixth round) in the 2000 NFL Draft. Since then, TB12 has gone on to win five Super Bowls, two MVP awards, two times All-Pro and was elected to 12 Pro Bowls! Aside from being without a doubt the greatest quarterback of all-time, Brady is just as much elite in fantasy football as he is on the gridiron. After being suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season, Brady came back with a vengeance. After throwing for 406 yards in the air and finding the endzone three time against the Cleveland Browns, Brady went on to become the 12th best QB in fantasy for 2016. With the addition of deep-threat Brandin Cooks and a healthy Rob Gronkowski, Look for Brady to be typical (dominant) Brady in 2017.

Honorable Mentions: Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers), Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons), Marcus Mariota (Tennessee Titans)

RB – David Johnson (Arizona Cardinals)

It’s impossible to talk about elite fantasy football players without mentioning David Johnson. Finishing the 2016 campaign with an impressive 2,118 yards from scrimmage. With an aging Carson Palmer (37,) the Cardinals may depend on the third-year running back even more this season. Johnson is an absolute PPR (Point per reception) monster in fantasy, finishing #20 among receptions with 80 catches. Not too shabby for a running back to be in the top 25 for catches.

Honorable Mentions: Le’Veon Bell (Pittsburgh Steelers), LeSean McCoy (Buffalo Bills), Melvin Gordon (Los Angeles Chargers)

WR – Mike Evans (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Since departing from Texas A&M in 2013, the 7th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft has shown he is among the best wideouts in the league. Despite a sophomore slump in the TD department, the humongus 6-5 deep-threat has shown improvement through his first three NFL seasons. After finishing 2016 with 96 catches and 12 touchdowns, Evans could take that final leap and become the best WR in the game. The arrival of the speedy (4.35 40 yard dash combine time) DeSean Jackson can help spread the field for Evans, who despite his size has shown that he is also one of the best route runners in football. Tampa Bay has something special brewing with young quarterback Jameis Winston, Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and rookie tight end O.J. Howard. Look for Tampa Bay to make a push for the playoffs this season.

Honorable Mentions: Antonio Brown (Pittsburgh Steelers), Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons), Jordy Nelson (Green Bay Packers)

John and Barbara Vicich

“We wanted to thank you for your personal and specialized attention to the water problem we had in our basement. You took the time to inspect the whole situation and gave us recommendations, all of which worked. You had a way of explaining the process and materials that would be used in a way that we understood. We are very pleased with the work that was done and would highly recommend your company to anyone.”

“The day after Hurricane Irene, all of my neighbors basements were filled with water, while mine remained dry! It is wonderful, everything remains dry and the battery backup worked beautifully when my power was out for 2 days. Dry AND quiet, thank you, thank you! Thanks! Debbie, Berwyn”

Doug Smith, Glenside

“All I have to say is that Hurricane Irene was no match for the job that Rightway did for my basement and my father-in-law’s. I had my basement done 5 years ago and we are still bone dry and my father-inlaw’s was done last year and another dry basement… Great job! I highly recommend them for waterproofing and mold remediation.”

Luke

“I’d highly recommend these guys for your basement. My basement has been dry since they installed a sump pump and French drain in June. They offer a competitive price, they get the job done quickly and they stand by their work. Please mention my name if you proceed down the road with these guys.”

Angelo and Sandra Patiri

“We had our basement waterproofed with Rightway Waterproofing in 2007, after all this time and just getting through Hurricane Irene, we did not get a drop of water in our basement. Rightway Waterproofing did a very good job and we are very satisfied!”
